I love the east coast. After living in the Midwest, Rome and out west, nothing feels more like home than my current location. The seasons are a must. This Easter Sunday was gorgeous. Chilly spring weather on Saturday gave way to warm temps, a perfectly clear, sunny day and I was in heaven. While in LA, you'd often take the ocean and beach for granted, while this weekend I was grateful to run on the beach with friends on Long Island and dip my toes into the water experiencing the first kiss of summer. There's nothing as soothing as the sound of the ocean and feeling the cold sand on your feet. It reminds you of how simple life can be. If not yet, a spring/April must is getting out to a beach as soon as soon as you can, it certainly made me look forward to the summer and all the fun with friends it's going to bring.
