Back At It

While these images take me away, reminding me of peaceful moments of vaycays and especially the latest to Miami, I must admit, now that this little chiquita is back in NYC, pretty images are about the only thing reminding me of lazy getaway days - life has been hectic. With a new schedule - 5:30am wake up call to head to Equinox and uber-long days, I've had no time to post. Until then, be well and see you back here soon as I'll return to regular posts in a jiffy!

Monday Must - Pablo

While out and about shopping in Miami last week, God bless that city for being such an easy escape from NY, I popped into a gallery on Lincoln Road and nearly fell over (it could've also been in addition to the insane beach bootcamp I hit up that a.m.) at the bright beautiful paintings by the contemporary Argentine artist, Pablo Contrisciani. Friday Fashion - Summer Brights

As a blond and especially as I get older, I'm always geared toward wearing neutrals and am quite careful about sporting any bright colors, as a fair-headed female the hues can often make you look obnoxious, dumb or the worst, cheap. However, one thing that has changed that apprehension is Gucci's Spring/Summer 2013 ad campaign. In a simple palette of singular colors and prints, all at once the out-loud colors still look chic, tasteful and downright classic. Also God bless their prints and glasses. It almost makes me want to get a pair, one accessory that certainly smartens up the look. Have a wonderful weekend!

For a fun way to wake up your every day, try adding a colorful framed print to your office space or wherever. Since finding these prints from Parima Creative Studio by the adorable twenty-something California-based artist Patricia Vargas, I'm all over them and can't decide which one I want most. Friday Fashion - Pink Prada Perfection

With the weather warming up, I'm all about spring wardrobe updates - dresses, heels, jewelry, clutches. Out with the cold and in with new hot items to add to the wardrobe. My new fav, fav, favorite addition is Prada's Saffiano Metal Oro Wallet with Chain in bubblegum pink. Just enough room to fit a few cards, my iPhone and lip gloss and I'm out there door.
